Practice agreements - avoiding the pitfalls

Length: 1 hour

This webinar delves into the importance of associates, self-employed hygienists and therapists having a good contract with the practice. A clear contract that is fair for both parties can help prevent disputes from arising.

The DDU's Leo Briggs and Eric Easson explore some of the common clauses seen in contracts, and discuss how to ensure they are fair and reasonable for everyone.

Aim:

  • To provide an overview of the importance of having clear and fair contracts between practice owners and clinicians.

Objectives:

  • To discuss the importance to both parties of having a fair contract.
  • To highlight some of the clauses commonly seen in contracts between practice owners and clinicians
  • To clarify the meaning of these clauses for both parties.

It is anticipated that this will help meet GDC learning development outcomes A, C and D.
